Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton (CABB) is a leading provider of legal advice and information, supporting thousands of clients every year. We are a busy, client focused and dynamic service with a track record of delivering high quality advice. Across Bury & Bolton, we are the only organisation whose advice is independently verified for legal compliance. Our services are delivered between 8am – 6pm.

At CABB, we are at the forefront of service delivery across a number of specialist areas. We have a national reputation across the Citizens Advice network, as experts of immigration knowledge and service delivery.

As an organisation, we are accredited to the highest level within the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) and Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS) – this means we are able to provide immigration advice to all levels, including to appeal and judicial review.

The organisation offers both Legal Aid funded services to clients and a private, not for profit, fee-paying service. The post holder will be required to work across both these areas and engage with clients over the phone, email and face to face.

You will hold a reduced caseload and conduct supervisions for, up to 4, individuals within our immigration team. You will also be the first port of call for queries within the team, monitor caseloads, conduct file reviews and be able to allocate cases to the team in line with their qualifications and experience.
