Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Gemma worked for Latitude Law as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Gemma has particular expertise with sponsorship by religious organisations in the UK, and the interplay between the religious worker and charity worker routes.

Gemma was shortlisted for ‘Legal Professional of the Year’ at the Manchester Young Talent Awards 2018, and ‘Lawyer of the Year’ at the Made in Manchester Awards 2019. For the past two years Gemma has been selected to be a mentor on the Manchester Young Solicitors Group / Manchester Metropolitan University mentoring scheme.
