The Pandemic has raised numerous challenges and the ‘new normal’ of working from home while attempting to maintain balance and boundaries has been of great difficulty to many of us.  Now, more than ever, we need to take stock, to recognise both our strengths and weaknesses, acknowledge our resources, find the courage to say NO, admit our limitations and enhance our well-being so that we are better able to look after ourselves, our families and our clients.

Tutor biographies:
Brendan spends his week working as an Immigration Practitioner, Well-being and Performance Coach and Trainer.

South African born, he qualified in Law, worked for a Supreme Court Judge and lectured before travelling to the UK to complete his LLM Degree at UCL in Comparative Immigration  and Human Rights Law.  He joined ILPA in 1991,  established Beder-Harrison & Co in 1992 and his Coaching Practice some 14 years later.  He has trained for ILPA, HJT, JCWI and frequently provides in-house training for Solicitors in Immigration Law as well as Performance and Well-being (via his coaching firm, Smooth Transitions).  He is part of the nationwide initiative Coaching Through COVID providing pro bono coaching and meditation sessions to frontline NHS staff. He is an ILPA Well-being Ambassador
