ILPA invites you to 'Celebrating Women in Law' to mark International Women's Day 2022.
Lucy Mair, a distinguished barrister practicing at Garden Court North Chambers and longstanding ILPA member, will be guiding the conversation with a fantastic array of women who have built their careers in the legal sector. The discussion will touch upon a diverse set of topics including professional development, intersectionality, women in leadership roles, motherhood and ask the question of the extent to which gender discrimination prevails within the legal sector.
The discussion will tap into some of the personal experiences of our panellists as well as talk more broadly about perceived attitudes, opportunities and challenges within this field.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.
