ILPA would like to invite you to its 2020 AGM and Conference. This year has been an extremely interesting and challenging year for Immigration Law. During this time ILPA have remained committed to supporting you as practitioners as we adapt to new ways of working and engaging with ILPA content. At the start of the pandemic we moved our entire training schedule online and launched an incredibly successful webinar programme; we launched a brand new website fortuitously just in time the introduction of new ways of remote working which has seen record numbers of users in a decade; launched a Google Group which now hosts 600 members and has started some 700 conversations regarding Coronavirus-specific enquiries and Immigration enquiries more generally; and by no means least ILPA have been tirelessly engaged with the Home Office on their response to the pandemic.
George Shirley, Head of Work, Study, Family and Citizenship at UKVI and David Bolt, Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration will be joining us as Keynote Speakers.
During this conference we will be inviting some of our working group co-convenors to reflect on the year thus far, and discuss some of the challenges as we enter the last phase of the transition out of the European Union.
All members are welcome to attend and there is no limit on the number of attendees from each organisation. Non-members are not permitted to attend the AGM.
