Delegates who attend this session will learn about the operational and practical side of prevention of illegal working obligations on employers.
At the end of the session they should be in a better position to advise clients on their duties under the Prevention of Illegal Working legislation and how to deal with the ramifications of a breach in those duties. Increased awareness of employment law considerations.

Tutor biographies:
Hazar El-Chamaa is a Partner at Penningtons Manches Cooper and is an elected trustee of ILPA. She has over 15 years immigration experience. Hazar’s clients include large multinational companies, who she advises on all aspects of business immigration including prevention of illegal working, sponsor licence compliance, restructuring and business strategies. Hazar is a regular speaker on immigration law matters and is recommended by the Legal 500, Chambers HNW and Who’s Who Legal.

Hester Jewitt is a Senior Associate at Penningtons Manches Cooper with over 18 years experience in employment law.  Her clients range from senior executives to multi-national companies. She provides practical advice on all matters including employment status, unfair dismissal, discrimination, contracts of employment, disciplinary and grievance matters. Hester also devises and runs training events for clients on the employment law issues and regularly speaks at external seminars.
