The course will cover key legal provisions for EEA/Swiss nationals eligible for status under the EUSS (on the basis of their pre-2021 UK residence), their family members and employers. We will focus in particular on the amendments made to Appendix EU in recent Statements of Changes and highlight problematic areas and common pitfalls.

Tutor biographies:

Bojana is a barrister at Garden Court Chambers, practising almost exclusively in immigration, asylum and nationality. She has become known for her work on cases involving sexual orientation and gender identity both in asylum and immigration context. Chambers and Partners 2020 described Bojana as a "leading light on complex European law issues" and "very bright and meticulous in her preparation, and is absolutely one of the principal barristers for LGBT and immigration cases."

Eva is a barrister primarily practising in immigration, asylum and nationality law with a focus on EU law. Eva has delivered ILPA training on Appendix EU and the EU Settlement Scheme since 2018.
