DESCRIPTION:Book tickets now \nOverview\n\n\n\n\nThis course will be a practical and interactive opportunity to understand and embed the law and policy related to asylum and human rights. \n\n\n\n\nLevel: Basic to Intermediate \nDescription: \nThe Home Office are increasingly certifying claims as clearly unfounded under Section 94 of the 2002 Act. \nThey also certify claims under Section 96 on the 2002 Act\, where they believe that an applicant could have raised an issue in an earlier appeal and failed to do so without good reason. \nCertification under these provisions has a huge impact on applicants\, by preventing them from appealing negative decisions in the FTT. \nIt is therefore vital that we all\, as practitioners\, develop strategies to successfully challenge these decisions as they arise. \nThis course will be a practical and interactive opportunity to understand and embed the law and policy around the certification of asylum and human rights claims.
