About the role and how to apply:
Immigration Paralegal / Professional Assistant
You will be part of our Level 3 department and assist our senior consultants on a range of UK immigration & nationality applications and appeals
Your tasks will include (but not be limited to):
– Submitting online application, upload documents to UKVI/Sopra Steria website
– Booking client’s biometric appointments
– Managing clients’ files to be fully compliant with the OISC requirements
– Drafting letters and legal documents
– Assisting with the preparation of appeal bundles and corresponding with the Tribunal in relation to clients’ appeals
– Managing consultants’ inboxes
– Liaising with third parties, such as the Home Office, barristers and the Immigration tribunals
– Responding to clients’ queries and drafting responses for review by Senior Consultants
About You
– Being able to work independently with a minimum level of supervision
– Excellent communication skills and grammar
– Attention to detail
– Being able to meet a deadline
Relevant experience in immigration is essential for this role
OISC qualification at level 1 is desirable but not mandatory
At least one year’s experience working in the field of Immigration is required or two years working in a legal environment. Starting salary of £24,000 per annum is offered but is highly negotiable, according to experience.
