Weekly meetings with our asylum sector colleagues continue to take place, where we discuss and share knowledge on issues such as the use of army barracks as asylum accommodation, third party outsourcing of asylum interviews, mobile phone seizures, and boat prosecutions.
The Legal Director attended two meetings with the Home Office to discuss their proposals on the detention of vulnerable adults and attended a meeting with the Legal Aid Agency to discuss immigration legal aid in detained cases.
