ASYLUM AID LETTER REGARDING EXTENSIONS OF TIME TO RESPOND TO A NOTICE OF INTENT
Asylum Aid has kindly shared with ILPA members the below letter, sent to the Home Office on 26 April 2024, asking the Home Office to publish new guidance implementing the Court of Appeal’s judgment in Asylum Aid’s previous Rwanda challenge and specifically on an extensions policy (that guidance has now been updated). The letter may be helpful for representatives who are applying for an extension to respond to a notice of intent as it sets out clearly why seven days is insufficient.
