Marios Kontos is a solicitor and the Legal Officer of UKLGIG. He provides legal advice and assistance to LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity, and helps deliver the organisation’s policy work. Marios has extensive experience in immigration, asylum and public law, having previously worked at Duncan Lewis Solicitors and UNHCR in London. He is certified by the Law Society as a Senior Caseworker.
