Kingsley Napley (KN) is looking to recruit an ambitious and motivated Associate/ Senior Associate in our top ranked Immigration team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading immigration teams, which has been at the heart of UK immigration law for almost 30 years and has consistently been ranked in Band 1 for both business and personal immigration. Working within our dedicated Private Client Immigration team you will be working with a team recognised by the leading directories for its expertise in HNW, personal and human rights and asylum work. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of private clients across a range of application types, developing and maintaining relationships with the team and the firm’s clients.

You will be advising on a wide range of matters, including business immigration applications for individuals (such as investor, entrepreneur and sole representative extensions and Innovator Founder applications), Global Talent, family immigration, EUSS, settlement, human rights and nationality.

You will be advising on complex immigration issues, advising on solutions to a wide variety of complex cases. You will need to be familiar with challenging Home Office decision through administrative review, judicial review and appeals, working closely with junior and senior Counsel to provide the best advice to our clients.

The role will involve working with clients from across the firm’s full-service teams, and seeking input from colleagues on complex cases, often working with our Private Client, Family, Corporate and Commercial and Criminal teams. You will also work with team members from our Corporate Immigration teams to find business immigration solutions for our clients.

You will need to maintain and develop your level of immigration knowledge at the highest level and share this with the wider team.

Our role in influencing UK immigration policy is well-known, and you will work with the partners and wider team to correspond with UKVI on policy and operational matters that assist our clients and the wider legal and migrant community

You will be involved in business development, supporting our departmental business plan and our objectives, and be willing to attend and speak conferences, webinars and attend networking events, write blogs and articles and grow your network of contacts and intermediaries.

You will be supervising junior members of the Immigration Private client team and supporting them in their development.
