Please see attached information obtained under FOI regarding s.55 duty and training of ECO and ECM. It appears to me that they are only trained to look out for applicant children for entry clearance applications. It has no mention of Entry clearance applicants who may have children in the UK. I have raised this with UKBA. Will be in touch when I have further information.
