Women in Refugee Law (WiRL) made a submission to Reem Alsalam, the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women and Girls, in advance of her visit to the UK from 12 to 21 February 2024. The submission, which can be downloaded below, ‘draws together recent evidence and knowledge from our UK members with lived experience of claiming asylum, and legal practitioners, advocates and researchers’, including ILPA.
