· Looking ahead at expected developments in 2025
This course will not cover GBM, Scale-Up or Innovator routes in detail.

Audience: The course is designed for immigration practitioners holding basic UK immigration law knowledge who wish to develop their practice in the area of business immigration.

Gary has practised UK-inbound immigration, nationality and refugee law for almost 30 years.
He founded Latitude Law, where he is managing partner, in 2007. Gary has recognised expertise in guiding businesses, from start-ups to multinationals, through sponsor licensing and related regulatory processes. He is also noted for his work in the arts & entertainment sector and with high-net-worth individuals, with particular focus on the global talent route. Gary continues to oversee complex asylum and deportation work.
Gary is registered as a foreign lawyer with the Brussels Barreau and regularly works from Latitude Law’s subsidiary office in Brussels servicing EU clients. He is ranked by Chambers & Partners in both High Net Worth and Business Immigration, and by Legal 500. He remains a Corporate Immigration Thought Leader in Who’s Who Legal for 2025.
Shara has worked in UK immigration law since 2010 and heads up the immigration team within Pinsent Masons. She predominantly assist with business immigration issues, covering a full range of sponsored and unsponsored routes and ancillary issues such as right to work and corporate due diligence. Shara is also experienced with compliance issues for higher education sponsors.
Shara has been recognised by Legal 500, Lexology, and Internal Employment Lawyer.
Shara is a co-convener of the ILPA North West working group. She delivers ILPA’s ‘Introduction to Business Immigration Law’ and ‘Employing Migrant Workers: Tier 2, sponsorship & alternatives’ training.
