WEB 3071 ILPA Conference on Current Issues in Immigration & Family Law
We invite you to attend ILPA’s Conference on Current Issues in Immigration & Family Law, hosted as a hybrid event.
An all-day conference bringing together experts from the worlds of immigration law and family law to discuss issues involving both sectors, as those fields so often overlap. We believe it is the first conference of its type that brings together the two disciplines.
Panels will include:
- Marital breakdown, chaired by Tim Barnden of Bates Wells
- Domestic violence, chaired by Nath Gbikpi of Leigh Day Solicitors
- Children, chaired by Barry O’Leary of Wesley Gryk Solicitors
- Right to family life, chaired by Mala Savjani of Wilson Solicitors
Each panel will have 4 to 6 family and immigration experts giving short speeches, followed by a Q&A from attendees.
We have a superb selection of speakers including:
· Pragna Patel, Project Resist
· Kathryn Cronin, Garden Court Chambers
· Alison Leivesley, Bindmans
· Nicole Masri, Rights of Women
· Neena Acharya, Coram Children’s Legal Centre

Further speakers will be announced in due course.
