WEB 3133 ILPA Student Sponsors Conference (Online)
Following the success of ILPA’s inaugural Student Sponsors Conference last year, we are delighted to invite you to ILPA’s second Student Sponsors Conference. The conference is coming at a pivotal time for student sponsors as tougher sponsor compliance measures outlined in the May 2025 Immigration White Paper are expected to be in force together with new requirements in relation to the use of agents to recruit international students.
Welcoming back our co-chairs and education immigration law experts, Tom Brett Young (VWV Solicitors) and Anna Blackden (Doyle Clayton Solicitors), the conference will examine the Immigration Rules and Home Office Policy Guidance relating to the sponsorship of international students in the UK, including new safeguarding rules in the Child Student Visa route in effect since May 2025. With a Key Note speaker from the UKVI’s Study Services team together with a panel of specialist education immigration practitioners, the conference will be an unmissable opportunity to share observations, insights and practical guidance on navigating the ever changing landscape of student sponsorship and policy.
In addition to Key Note Speakers from the UKVI’s Study Services Team, Jack Rose and Phillip Wall, the conference programme will include the following sessions and presenters:
