Dear Sonia and Robin

Please find attached a letter provided today to the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the Upper Tribunal (IAC), regarding the Home Office’s upcoming charter flight to Finland and Sweden on 29 September 2020.

In light of the ongoing situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), the letter includes information on the arrangements put in place to mitigate the risk of transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) for returnees at all stages of the process. This covers their movement from Immigration Removals Centres and prisons to the port of departure, during boarding and in flight, and finally on arrival in Finland and Sweden.

Also attached is the order of Walker J and the consent order dated 25 June 2019, which are referred to in the letter.

Kind regards

Operational Support and Certification Unit (OSCU) | Detention, Progression and Returns Command (DPRC) | Immigration Enforcement
