Home Office Documents | Removals, Detention and Offences

Please see a message below from OSCU at the Home Office. Also note a change to the operational arrangements for this flight. The Charter will now also be flying to Poland. Capacity for the flight is for 45 persons. A replacement letter can be found below.

Dear Robin and Sonia

Please find attached a letter provided today to the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the Upper Tribunal (IAC), regarding the Home Office’s upcoming charter flight to France and Spain on 15 October 2020.

In light of the ongoing situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), the letter includes information on the arrangements put in place to mitigate the risk of transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) for returnees at all stages of the process. This covers their movement from Immigration Removals Centres and prisons to the port of departure, during boarding and in flight, and finally on arrival in France and Spain.

Also attached is the order of Walker J and the consent order dated 25 June 2019, which are referred to in the letter.

Kind regards

Sophia Anderson
