ILPA wrote a letter to Prime Minister on the Earned Settlement proposals and their impact on refugees, and how they risk undermining the Government’s commitment to ending rough sleeping. ILPA asked for the Earned Settlement proposals to be scrapped in favour of a fair safe migration system, and highlighted that the Prime Minister’s rough sleeping strategy and the Home Office’s earned settlement proposals cannot both succeed, because they pull in opposite directions.
