Immigration Manager (35 hours/week)

Salary: £32-35k (depending on experience), + NI + 4% pension contributions

We are looking for an Immigration Manager to join the dynamic LRMN and lead its Immigration team. We currently have 2.6 FTE Immigration Advisers (OISC Level 2 and 3 and an Immigration Solicitor) who provide quality service to our service users.


LRMN is a thriving organisation and one of the most established refugees and migrants’ organisations providing services in London but focusing in south and southeast London boroughs. Our services include specialist legal advice and information on immigration, housing and welfare, providing therapeutic and practical support to women who survived gender based violence, helping our service users access employment, training and volunteering opportunities, prevent mental health problems, integrate and engage in their community.
As our Immigration Manager, your main responsibilities are to provide advice and casework at LSC Level 2/OISC Level 3 on immigration, nationality and asylum law and to ensure LRMN’s immigration service is running effectively and efficiently. You will manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law and represent clients at tribunals as and when necessary. You will provide line management support to your team members including 1:1 supervision, coaching, performance appraisal, file reviews and more and ensure that they provide high quality immigration and asylum advice and information


To be successful you should be accredited to LSC IAAS Level 2 and/or registered at OISC level 3 or a qualified Immigration Solicitor and have minimum of 5 years’ full-time experience of immigration, asylum and nationality legal advice and representation.
Awareness of issues and barriers faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in accessing appropriate services is important and experience of working in the voluntary sector is desirable. You should be highly motivated and can work alone and as part of a team.
