    Online membership application for Organisations

    This is the online application form for those applying for ILPA membership as an organisation.

    Membership of ILPA is subject to the approval of the Executive Committee. Articles 3 and 4 of the Articles of Association clearly define the requirements for membership.

    The membership form will be reviewed by the Committee of Trustees and we will get back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime please get in touch if you have any questions at all. Did you know you can attend training at the members’ rate (according to the category you are applying at) whilst your application is pending? If your application is not successful you would be liable for the full non member fee. Contact training@ilpa.org.uk with any questions.

    • Step 2: Supporting Materials

    • Max. file size: 200 MB.
    • References: Please include the name, phone number, email address, position and place of employment of 2 professional referees. We ask for two named individuals who would be willing to act as a referee for you, or your organisation, in a professional capacity. We will send them a simple email to confirm that they know you and would support your application for membership. They do not need to be existing members of ILPA, one of them should be a legal advisor but if you have any questions about this then do get in touch. If you are applying as an organisation your references should not be internal employees of that organisation because this could be considered a conflict of interest.

    • Step 3: Payment Information

    • Membership dues must be paid before your membership can begin. We will send you an invoice once your membership has been approved.
    • Please note Direct Debit is really helpful to us as an organisation. We will be sending you a link to our Direct Debit provider GoCardless for a quick, secure, simple set up.

      Payment can also be made by card or by bank transfer, we will be in touch once your membership has been approved.
