Changes to reflect the introduction of digital records of exemption for applicants from inside the UK and wider language updates.

Updated postal address for submitting requests for recognition of civilian component status.

Updated to clarify the approach for considering applications under Appendix FM and Appendix Private Life.

Guide B3, ‘travelling to and from the UK’ section: updated a reference to certificates of entitlement to the right of abode, following the change to digital certificates.

The section: “travelling to and from the UK after naturalising” has been updated.

A new section “travel to the UK” has been added to the guidance.

Guidance updated to reflect that a certificate of entitlement to the right of abode is now digital and can no longer be placed in a passport.

Updated the declaration in form SET(GT).
